The opening ceremony will be broadcast today on free TV by ZDF and Eurosport. In the course of the 2022 Olympics, ZDF will alternate daily with ARD in live reporting on free-to-air television. Today, the public broadcaster starts broadcasting the coverage at 12.10 p.m. with presenter Katrin Müller-Hohenstein. Nils Kaben then comments on the opening ceremony. The Eurosport broadcast starts at 12.30 on Eurosport 1.
