The first half was much more studied than played, and both teams had chances. Santos almost opened the scoring with Kaio Henrique, with a fish, in the 10th minute. Botafogo, in turn, almost scored with Vitinho, in the 21st minute, and with Gabriel Conceição, first, over the goal.

At the end of the initial stage, Santos managed to take the lead, taking advantage of the fact that Botafogo was not in its best days. In the 43rd minute, after a free kick from the right, Thiago Balieiro scored with a header and didn't give goalkeeper Igo any chances to save: Peixe 1-0.

The second half was much busier. Santos almost scored the second with Kaio Henrique with a heel, but Igo saved it at 11. Botafogo improved, attacked more and managed to equalize. In the 16th minute, after the Santos defense saved Ryan's goal on the line, Gabriel Conceição lined up in the area and left everything the same: 1 to 1.

The game started electric, with Palmeiras opening a good lead. At four minutes, Gabriel Silva took advantage of Garcia's pass and made it 1 to 0. Eight minutes later, the white goalkeeper Lucas Barreto went to comb the ball and ended up being disarmed by Jonathan, who found the goal empty to score 2 to 0.

Botafogo managed to react soon afterwards. In the 14th minute, Kauê put in, Vitinho played over the goalkeeper and Vanderlan, when trying to take it out, scored against. The white tie could have come three minutes later, but the referee did not give a penalty from Fabinho to Gabriel Henrique, pointing to a foul outside the area.

Behind on the scoreboard, Botafogo was looking for a tie throughout the rest of the first half. Right at the beginning of the final stage, the short Rikelmi entered and made Glorioso even more incisive. And the tie came. In the 26th minute, he entered the area and was brought down by Jonathan: penalty. Raí hit, Mateus still played, but the ball went in: 2 to 2.

In the end, Palmeiras got the winning goal, in the dead ball. In the 39th minute, after a corner from the right, defender Henri got ahead of goalkeeper Lucas Barreto and tested to put the home team ahead 3-2.
